Im Unternehmen arbeiten, das war anf\u00e4nglich eine ganz andere Welt und ich musste mich zun\u00e4chst neu sortieren.<\/p>\n<p>Zum zweiten Mal ging es mir so, als mich ein Headhunter anrief und mir f\u00fcr die Position bei Michelin eine zweieinhalbseitige Aufgabenbeschreibung zukommen lie\u00df. Dort stand auch, dass man Mitglied im Vorstand von Michelin Northern Europe sein w\u00fcrde \u2013 und ich dachte nur: \u201eWow, alles klar.\u201c Es stellte sich mir schon die Frage, ob ich vom Headhunter nur pro forma als der \u201ejunge Wilde\u201c ins Rennen geschickt werde, ohne eine echte Chance zu haben \u2013 oder ob man ernsthaft an meiner Person interessiert war.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00fcckblickend waren beide Schritte f\u00fcr mich sehr wertvoll: Von den urspr\u00fcnglichen Fragezeichen in meinem Kopf bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem ich sagen konnte, dass die Position genau die richtige f\u00fcr mich ist. Immerhin war ich nach sieben Jahren schon fast ein halber Boschler \u2013 so sagt man \u2013 und hatte dem Unternehmen sehr viel zu verdanken. Meine Chefs hatten mir immer die Chance gegeben, mich zu entwickeln und Verantwortung zu \u00fcbernehmen. Viele Kollegen sind im Laufe der Jahre zu Freunden geworden. Ich habe ein Team zur\u00fcckgelassen, das sehr gut harmoniert und noch heute gro\u00dfartige Arbeit leistet.<\/p>\n<p>Aber ich sch\u00e4tze der Wechsel war dann auch ein Verlassen meiner Komfortzone und damit gut. Bei Bosch lief das Rad rund und ich war auf der Suche nach einer neuen Challenge. Meine aktuelle Aufgabe bei Michelin bietet mir genau das. W\u00e4hrend meinen ersten Monaten habe ich bereits enorm dazugelernt, zum Beispiel was Unternehmenskultur und Menschenf\u00fchrung angeht. Aber um ehrlich zu sein ist das eine Art Illusion, die nie erreichbar ist. F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte bieten eben doch einen Mehrwert, sei es durch Motivation und menschliche F\u00fcrsorge f\u00fcr die Mitarbeiter, die Vernetzung zum Top-Management oder die strategische Steuerung des Ganzen. Als ich vor 10 Jahren als Journalist anfing, war das f\u00fcr mich kein Job, sondern eine Berufung. Niemand hat damals des Geldes wegen im Journalismus gearbeitet. Einige berufliche Themen lassen mich \u2013 im positiven Sinne \u2013 oft nicht los und da kann es schon mal vorkommen, dass ich am Wochenende oder abends arbeite. Mir ist es wichtig, Dinge in der Firma voranzubringen. Der ein oder andere Abend mit Freunden ist so \u00fcber die Jahre sicherlich auf der Strecke geblieben und gleichzeitig gab es hunderte Abende, die ich mit Familie und Freunden genie\u00dfen konnte. Das f\u00fchrte zwar zu guten KPI aber der Zusammenarbeit hat das nicht gerade gutgetan. Ich musste lernen, dass es nicht nur den einen Weg zum Erfolg gibt, sondern dass unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen zum Ziel f\u00fchren und wir alle auch voneinander profitieren k\u00f6nnen. Sie bringen eine ganz andere Routine im Handling von Herausforderungen mit. Und doch halten viele junge F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte die \u201ealten\u201c F\u00fchrungsstile fast reflexartig f\u00fcr schlecht. Auf dem Weg hatte ich sehr viele \u00e4ltere Kolleg:innen, die abgeschrieben waren, aber in denen sich doch nochmal ein gro\u00dfes Feuer entz\u00fcnden lie\u00df, wenn man offen auf sie zuging. Auch in meiner Position bei Michelin habe ich nochmal viel von den \u201ealten Hasen\u201c gelernt. Denn viele der etablierten F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte waren auch mal Modern Leaders und haben einen geh\u00f6rigen Wissensvorsprung dazu, wie sich Umfelder ver\u00e4ndern und welche Konstanten es gibt.
