A leading name in Corporate Affairs executive search

GKPRCC is a leading search firm specialising in Corporate Affairs – by which we mean Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Investor Relations and Marketing.

Created through the merger of the specialist search firms GK and PRCC, we combine more than 30 years of market experience with a modern approach to Executive Search.

From Berlin, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, we advise organisations throughout the DACH region. Together with our international partners, we also deliver mandates well beyond these markets.

GK + PRCC = GKPRCC

GKPRCC was formed in 2026 through the merger of two firms that have helped shape the market for Communications and Corporate Affairs over many years.

  • GK Consulting was founded in 1992. Gabriele Kaminski and Christian Löcker were among the pioneers of specialist search for Communications professionals.
  • PRCC was founded in 2010 by Thomas Lüdeke and Philip Müller, establishing a strong reputation for a transparent, systematic and contemporary approach to Executive Search for Communications functions.

Today, we bring together this experience, our networks and our advisory capability in one specialist search boutique. At the heart of our approach is the same commitment that has always defined us: personal advice, deep market knowledge and understanding every mandate on its own terms.

Our Leadership Team

GKPRCC is led by experienced consultants who have known – and helped shape – the Corporate Affairs market for many years.

Kirsten Altenhoff established GK’s Berlin office – as Managing Partner of GKPRCC, she continues to oversee corporate communications and public affairs accounts from there. Previously, as CCO at Quadriga, she was responsible for communications, stakeholder management and political events.

What sets GKPRCC apart

We understand Corporate Affairs – and the people behind it

We fill leadership and key positions in Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, Public Affairs and Sustainability – for international corporations, DAX, MDAX and SDAX companies, as well as leading mid-sized businesses, family enterprises and institutions.

What matters most to us is not simply whether a candidate has held a comparable role in the same sector or at a similar scale. We seek to understand which personality is right for the role, for the organisation, and for the situation in which it currently finds itself.

That requires market knowledge – and experience in working with people.

An experienced Corporate Affairs search team

Our consultants understand Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs and Marketing through direct market experience, not observation alone.

Many have worked in agencies, Communications and Marketing departments or adjacent functions. We understand the different roles, career paths and requirements within our markets, enabling us to distinguish between candidates even where their CVs may appear similar at first glance.

This specialisation makes our searches more precise – and our conversations more insightful.

Access to leaders who can make an impact today

The demands placed on senior leaders are changing. Transformation, emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping organisations, roles and leadership models.

Alongside functional expertise, other capabilities are becoming more important: readiness for change, judgement, the ability to learn, integrity and the ability to lead people effectively in uncertain environments.

We explore these requirements in depth, including through our Modern Leaders initiative, and know individuals across our client and candidate communities who embody the leadership qualities needed to succeed in today’s environment.

Transparent and dependable

Executive Search should be clear and easy to understand. That is why we work with honesty, transparency and a commitment to delivering on our promises.

Clients know where a search stands, how the market is responding and what we are hearing in conversations. Candidates can expect the same openness from us – including when a role is not the right fit.

We do not see ourselves simply as an intermediary between two sides. Our role is to advise both parties.

That may sound self-evident but it is a distinction that matters in practice.

Personal advice. International search.

GKPRCC combines the market insight and personal approach of a specialist search boutique with the international reach (and connectivity) of a global network.

Together with our partners in the GCSP network, we provide access to senior leaders in important international markets and deliver cross-border mandates with the same functional depth we bring to searches throughout the DACH region.

Artificial intelligence (AI) in Executive Search: applied with purpose

Artificial intelligence (AI) can make Executive Search more efficient, including in research, analysis and the structuring of large volumes of information. It cannot replace personal conversations, experience or human judgement.

We use AI where it creates tangible value but remain alert to its limitations and risks. AI supports the process; our people shape and drive it.

Networks and Engagement

Our work is grounded in ongoing dialogue with the people advancing Communications, Corporate Affairs and leadership. This is why we are actively involved in professional networks and wider social initiatives.
